Libyan/Irish Jalal Abuthina is a photographer, artist and authour of the "Inside Dubai" series of street photography books - a captivating and vivid visual tour through the lesser known areas and neighbourhoods of the city. Since 2004, Jalal has been documenting and recording various facets of the city's people and neighbourhoods, with a particular focus on the areas of Deira, Bur Dubai, Karama and Satwa. Jalal currently works between the commercial photography world, private tour guiding and the arts.
