One of our favourite mosques in Dubai to take a wicked picture. Omar Bin Al Haider Mosque is a beacon in UAE’s Islamic architecture known for its unique shape and symbolic design. It is also one of the oldest mosques – established in 1952 by Omar Ali Bin Haider and renovated in 1985. If you are appropriately dressed, check out the interior. It fits 1000 people, the acoustics are so great you can hear a whisper from one side to the other, and a single chandelier hands from the Calderon with Quranic verses in turquoise and gold. A beautiful mosque for worshipping.
